Mobile Mammography

The Breast Clinic established a mobile service in 1993 designed to provide breast cancer screening in the workplace in an effort to reach more women and to educate them on the importance of proper breast care. Our mobile facility serves area businesses, medical offices, clinics and churches.

Also, thanks to grants (NC Triad Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the Avon Foundation Breast Care Fund, and the American Cancer Society) as well as other funding available through the Forsyth Medical Center Foundation, The Breast Clinic and our mobile service has been able to help underserved women gain education and access to mammography services. Our mission is to educate women regarding breast self-examinations, mammograms and clinical breast exams.
